Bulgar Veg Balls

Bulgar Veg Balls is my own recipe which is inspired from the Falafel and the Çiğ köfte. This dish is crispy outside and fresh inside. It’s a healthy and refreshing vegan snack. Cooking of this recipe is also easy and fast. It’s a life saver for many students who is living alone in abroad 😉. It adds more nutirents to your everyday need.

Ingredients:

  • 200 gms Bulgur (Extra fine)
  • 1 Broccoli
  • 2 Carrots
  • 1 Onion (finely chopped)
  • 3 tablespoon chopped Dill
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoon sweet chilli powder
  • 3 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 potatoes
  • Hot Water
  • Bread crumbs
  • Salt

Method:

  • Take a Bulgur in the bowl and pour hot water. Set it aside for 5 minutes.
  • Boil the broccoli and carrot for 3 mins and grind it to semi powdered state using mixie.
  • Boil and smash the potatoes.
  • Mix the smashed potatoes, grinded broccoli and carrot, Onion, Bulgur, Olive oil, Dill and all the spices (Garlic powder, sweet chilli powder, salt).
  • Make a flat balls or any shape out of the mixture and keep it aside.
  • Roll each balls in the bread crumbs and fry it for 5 minutes.
  • Bulgar Veg Balls is ready to enjoy.
